MartiniPic Janet Torelli

About The Designer

Janet Torelli, a self-taught sterling tableware designer, draws her unique designs from architectural and organic forms.  While some have found the influence of fine jewelry in her designs, Torelli sees her work as a marriage of functionality and contemporary elegance for the table.  Janet Torelli’s ‘Swirl’ Tomato Spoon is in the National Design Museum in New York.

Janet is a party planner extraordinaire, chef and certified sommelier.  She has taught cooking classes including grilling classes on the Big Green Egg.

She resides in Chicago, which provides a fertile source for her design ideas.  She is a member of the American Craft Council and GuildSomm.

MartiniPicAbout the Pics

Janet Torelli’s sterling silver martinipics are handcrafted—yes, individually made by hand, and rarely identical.  Each piece is signed, dated, and marked as sterling silver.

The sterling silver martinipics are 4 3/4″ long.
The stainless steel martinipics are 4 1/2 ” long.

All items are made in the USA, and the Ornato martinipics are patented.

Handle with care and use often!  Rinse promptly after use to prevent discoloration. May use non-abrasive silver polish.
